As a freelance consultant, I have coordinated and contributed to preparatory work for the Regional Archives project – meant to centralize (physical) judiciary archives in Romania at regional levels and resolve current document overload.
My key contribution was creating an algorithm that would determine storage area based on the number of document sheets, while previously identifying the need to provide a unitary methodology for document quantification. The algorithm was built on modeling the volume of paper along time and linking this with archiving systems from box to building – all based on understanding specific institutional archiving regulations and best practices of integrated archiving.
